Building a bookkeeping business in this industry has been completely rewarding for us. As entrepreneurs having solid services to offer your clients is important. It is equally important to have a team of  experts who has been in your exact shoes and knows how to help you.  Being a trucker's bookkeeper comes with a ton of responsibilities but you don't have to walk this journey alone.

The International Fuel Tax Agreement (IFTA) is an agreement between the 48 states and 10 provinces of Canada to collect a tax. The non-participating jurisdictions are Alaska, the District of Columbia, the United Mexican States (Mexico) and Canada's Northwest Territories, Nunavut Territory and Yukon Territory. Once an application is filed, an IFTA license is issued and the motor carrier responsible is required to file a quarterly tax. Fuel tax audits are administered by the base state.

In this course we will go over IFTA instructions specific to the State of Texas. Dig into this course and build your confidence to complete IFTA tax returns. Once you have finished this course, we hope that it helps you to define your process.
